Four traps

Clear the terms first, lose the bonus after

At Magius Casino, the terms are short and stated plainly, so the traps are all avoidable.

Bonus gone at the cashier

Ask to withdraw mid-playthrough and the 32× wagering clause voids what is left of the bonus rather than pausing it.

Finish every wagering requirement before requesting a payout

Check the wagering meter in your account first

Magius Casino expiry wipe-out

Because a bonus clears in 38 days, slow play lets the calendar run out and the remainder disappears without warning.

Plan your sessions across the full clearing window

Track days left in the bonus section weekly

Unclaimed match deposit

Deposit before ticking the offer box and the 152% match does not attach, leaving your balance short of what you expected.

Activate the offer before you send any funds

Confirm the bonus shows as pending first

Deposit too small to count?

Fund below the NZ$11 minimum and no welcome bonus triggers at all, whatever percentage the offer promises.

Deposit at least NZ$11 in one go

Check the amount before you confirm it

Five Rows

Wagering worked through on a NZ$20 deposit

The amount to wager is the bonus times 32× wagering; on a NZ$20 deposit with a NZ$30 bonus, that works out to NZ$973.

Four steps to claim

Wrong order costs you, right order pays

Use this the moment you have decided to take the welcome offer and want it done cleanly.

The qualifying deposit

Start by funding your account with at least NZ$11, the minimum this casino accepts, so the offer has a deposit to match. A smaller payment will not qualify.

Tick the box first

Before you confirm, tick the welcome offer so the bonus attaches to that deposit. Skipping the tick leaves the payment unmatched and the offer unclaimed.

What happens if you run late?

Play through the 32× wagering inside 38 days, from the moment the bonus lands. Miss the deadline and any remaining bonus is taken back.

Your cleared withdrawal

Once the playthrough is done, request a withdrawal of your cleared balance and expect verification before it releases. Have your documents ready to speed it up.

Reading the small print

What the terms settle before you play

The worry that a bonus hides a condition you only discover at the cashier.

trustWhy is this casino licensed in Curaçao and not here?+

Magius Casino N.V. holds licence OGL/2014/3623/348 from the Gaming Control Board Curaçao, company number 555606. That regulator sits outside New Zealand, so the licence governs how the casino operates rather than replacing local law. Check the licence line at the foot of the site before you deposit.

trustWhat if my welcome code is rejected at deposit?+

Every offer code this casino issues sits on its promo code page, and the welcome deal is no different. That page holds the current strings and the offer each one unlocks. Open it before you fund the account, because a code entered after the deposit usually cannot be added to the same boost.

trustHow long does a bonus take to show on my phone?+

Minutes, not days: the cashier, the opt-in and the code all work in the mobile browser, and no app install is needed. Two taps cover most of it. After the payment confirms, your balance and any spins appear in the account area on the same screen.

trustWhat if I have already claimed my welcome deal?+

Existing players get weekly cashback at 9% returned with no wagering attached, and daily drops of 52 spins run alongside it. Silver, Gold and VIP tiers add cashback at 5%, 7% and 9% by turnover. Nothing here needs a fresh account to reach.

trustWhere do I play if I would rather skip the boost?+

Nothing forces you to accept a boost, and declining keeps the account clear of playthrough entirely. Your own money stays withdrawable whenever you ask, with no wagering to clear first. Where a bonus would tie up a withdrawal, skipping it is the simpler path.

trustCan I clear my bonus after the 38 days end?+

Thirty-eight days is the window on the welcome boost, written as 38 days to clear on the offer itself. Spins from the daily drops unlock 12 at a time over 11 days instead, so they run on a shorter clock. Diarise the last day, because an uncleared balance is removed rather than extended.

trustCan I withdraw bonus winnings in New Zealand dollars?+

Yes, once the playthrough is done and verification is complete. Identity checks take up to 57 hours, so send the documents early rather than at the cashier. From there, payouts land in about 15 minutes and the cap sits at NZ$38,000.
